Appellate Representation.
I handle all types of appeals. I have extensive experience preparing, brief writing, supervising and making oral argument in both civil and criminal appeals in state and federal courts, including appearing in multiple jurisdictions under authorized pro hac vice orders. My experience includes appearances, petitions and/or supervisory assistance before the Wisconsin Court of Appeals, the Wisconsin Supreme Court, the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Minnesota Court of Appeals, the Minnesota Supreme Court, and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals. I have additionally assisted on petitions for certiorari for appeals to the United States Supreme Court.
I not only have the experience, but the practical resources and professional determination to fully advance my clients', referred client's, or appellate-only clients' positions, as I have successfully done so for more than a decade with the same advocacy used in my successes at the trail court level.
My physical mailing address is the Hudson location, though I am available for teleconference (715) 494-0080, video conference and/or in-person appellate consultation throughout the upper Midwest. My regular office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., though alternative times are possible by prior appointment, to discuss your appellate issues, options and possible written engagement.
